As you may have guessed from our name, Cattleyas are our specialty; indeed, they are our passion. Each year I judge the change of the seasons by which Cattleyas are in bloom and search the world for the best plants of my favorite cultivars.

I have tried Phals, Paphs, Oncidiums, and odd little species. Even though some of these have flowers that may last a bit longer, there is still nothing as beautiful as a well-bloomed Cattleya. Besides, be honest - even though the flowers on a Phal may last for months, how many times do you really look at them after the first few weeks? Actually we do have a few other species too, I must tell the truth - and yes, some of them are very nice, but at Cattleya.us, the Cattleya is king.

Based upon 20 years of growing and hybridizing experience, we have filled our greenhouses with some of the very best Cattleya (plus some other genera too) clones and crosses. We concentrate mostly on standard Cattleyas but have others things also. You be the judge. Explore and enjoy! We have added a lot of new items to our catalog during the winter and there are lots more to come, so please visit us from time to time. I think you will be pleased with some of the fine orchids we are growing.

We will be taking our mail order business offline until we get our greenhouses and the rest of our business relocated. This will probably take until spring 2011. Unfortunately, amid all the construction work and confusion there will just not be enough hours in the day to pack and ship orders. While all this takes place, the plants will continue to grow and get better (including the dozens of new crosses that are coming out of our lab).
